So happy you're here. Our journey into flower farming isn't your typical story. We come from flower farming families, and if we're being completely honest, it wasn't love at first - it was just what we knew. Over time, though, it grew on us in a way we never expected.

Both of our parents are immigrants from Laos. During the Vietnam War, the Hmong, an ethnic group that fought alongside the US, were forced to leave their homes after the war ended. Our parents came to the States with essentially nothing. But they knew how to grow things, and that knowledge is what got them through. To support us, they each started their own flower farm, and Fong and I grew up in that life, planting, weeding, and cutting flowers.

But somewhere between all those years, something shifted. Something amazing about seeing what you planted actually grow, and being surrounded by flowers every single day.

Now we have our own farm, grow dahlias, peonies and other seasonal flowers, and share what we know about growing them. Our own kids are outside with us too, busy instead of on a screen, learning just like we did.

Every stem or tuber you buy carries decades of knowledge through two families who started with nothing and built something beautiful. When you support Flower Day Farm, you're not just getting flowers, you're keeping a family tradition growing into its next generation.
